Can happily say it’s one of the best servings of Fish & Chips that I’ve ever had. A superb portion, full of flavour, very reasonably priced, topped with excellent service. Calling everyone from Salford; if you’ve not tried this chippy, you’ve not lived! A very high quality of Cod, which was fresh, mixed with a great and crispy batter blend. The chips were equally as perfect. Well-cut and properly cooked. Topped off with a generous pour of curry sauce.

We stopped here for" English" F&C on our way to Scotland, we were NOT disappointed! Richard fried them up fresh (cod )and chips, perfect! AND a great guy to talk with!

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Having a small appetite I only wanted small chips with my fish was advised I could have cone size portion instead of regular most helpful just the right size portion for me. And extra salt and vinegar too the best way to have it! Asked for large fish for my hubby who also wanted scraps with his aswell as chips peas and gravy. Had a laugh about the portion size and if he would eat it......he certainly did!! Smells like a proper traditional chippy thats what caught my nose when I stepped off the tram and vowed we would visit...we did by today end of the week after 1st smelling the place you can even smell the salt n vinegar. Chips were amazing Batter nice and crispy on the fish Would have preferred the peas abit more mushy for mushy peas but that doesnt change my 5star rating Will defo visit again and highly recommend
